What happened in Pretty Northern Vermont last night? How. What? HOW!
How happened

Oh I get it… har har…very funny. Very funny indeed.
very funny

Well…forgetting about that bad joke, the good news is that the snow was VERY DEEP in Northern Vermont today. It was also very heavy, and reminded me a lot of the type of snow they see often in the PNW. Also reminded me a bit of the April 2010 PNVV storm, but maybe even heavier. Surfing is fun though!

Funny that you mention the 4/2010 storm; that was another warm Spring with very little March snowfall.

And wasn’t there a (big) May snowfall after the crummy Winter of 2006?

There was at least two feet at the top of the Gondy yesterday, but it was raining hard at the bottom and down to just about nothing for the bottom couple hundred feet.

So where can I meet up with this group Friday or Saturday? You do do guided tours, don’t you? I tip with a Clif bar. Is that ok? Or should I just wing it with my own map?
