TR: Skiing Between The Lines

For Super Bowl Sunday, myself and a crew of adjunct FIS including Pete, Jake and Jessie, along with two fellas from EasternBackcountry, Austin and Drew, had big plans to ski big(ger) lines (than we’ve skied this season). The mountain had other plans however, and it generally doesn’t like to compromise.

TR: Resolutions

I’m young, and immature, but I try hard. Indeed, I know that I can do better, and so to keep myself honest, here’s a list of resolutions for the New Year; as per advice I heard on a talk radio program, I began adhering to these before the actual New Year. Supposedly you are more likely to stick with your resolutions if you start before the new year. Anyway, here we go:

TR: Moon Mission To Herman

Brian, Tess, and I headed up to Mt. Herman after work last week to ski under the full moon.

TR: Nortwest Couloir Climb

Allen, Lee, and I headed up to Shuksan to climb the Nortwest Couloir. Condtions were too firm to ski the line but were great for efficient climbing.

Depending on who you ask, going out and gawking at the Vermont Foliage is either a noble, or a useless endeavor. In any case trying to get nice pictures of the changing leaves is one of many things a skier can do while waiting for the snow to fly. Here’s a few of our pictures from going out and looking at the hills of Vermont just before the snow flies:
