Who are you?

It's like Wilson from Home Improvement

FamousInternetSkiers.com want to know who our faithful readers are.  Why you might ask?  Let us tell you a story.

We are affiliates of many different outdoor gear retailers.  This means, that we advertise for people like Backcountry.com in Park City, UT or the Outdoor Gear Exchange in Burlington, VT.

How does this work?  When one of our readers clicks a Backcountry.com advertisement, and then purchases an item we get a small commission for that sale.  It’s a way for us to raise enough money to pay to host the site, and enough for a few Miller High Lifes.

When someone purchases a product, we are able to see what products they purchase, but no personal information about them, not even their name.

We were hammering through what we’d sold for the month of July and these bad boys came up.

We didn’t even know we had girl readers, much less ones who were purchasing Bikini Bottoms through us.  Needless to say, we’d love to know who the discerning reader is.  So here it is:  If you can prove you’re the secret shopper, we’ll award you an FIS die cut sticker, an FIS Calendar, and one of Lionel’s law school text books.

As for the rest of our contingent of readers, we’d love to know who you are too.  If you’re so compelled, leave a comment to this post and tell us who you are.  If we get 20 comments we’ll mail everyone who commented their very own FIS die cut sticker.

I didn’t purchase that fine pair of briefs, but I do love reading all of the tantalizing content these famous gents take the time to post up. To keep the stoke flowing, I’d like to include a picture of myself skiing above Alta today, the 23rd of July.

Well, we’re old (most of us are early 50s, but a couple are late 30s), but we get out there and enjoy a lot of the same stuff you do. I’m the only telemarker. We are also BIG mtn bikers. I didn’t buy the bikini, though. She has nice taste, who ever she is. :)

I just recently stumbled on your site. It’s been a great breath of cool, crisp, winter air to mellow out this hot, dry summer. The ski reports are great, inspiring for a fellow New Englander who is hoping to find some of the goods off the beaten path.

    Didn’t buy the bikini.

Welcome! Too bad the bikini isn’t yours… :(

Regardless, we’re stoked you found FIS! Always excited to hear about new people finding their way to the site. Especially stoked to hear you’re enjoying it! As a welcome gift, want a sticker? I’ll send you one for free. Hit me up with an email in my profile page where I should ship it.

      Thanks!

    Yo,
Mid-30’s male boston-ite (read: not my bikini briefs…), looking to climb back out of babylon—->5 year plan.

Ski fatter nordics, never buy lift tix and hit some nice turns when I am able. Cycling off and on road and cross-training/plyo in prep for upcoming ski seasons….

Last week hit up a 3 night backpacking trip up and around the whites scoping for some turns this winter…. Mmmmmmmmmm, turns, sounds good right ya’ll?!

Thanks for the stoke guys! Keep em’coming, don’t need no coordinates, what’s the fun in that?!

real old guy here, 55+, skiing 45+, can’t wait for sr citizen discounts to kick in; badges:scar from a Killington stump, knocked out by a Jay pine, elbow smashed a Arapahoe Pass limb; still going strong for another 30. Enjoy FIS posts, photos, videos, accounts, tips, condition updates last year. what’s a bikini?

WELCOME! I think a bikini is what the girl who’s limb you ran into on Arapahoe Pass was wearing ;P

email me your snail mail address (look for the form at the bottom of this page), and i’ll send you a sticker to put on that booboo… or better yet, grab a calendar and get one for free!!

welcome to FIS formally… and we hope you enjoy what’s to come :D

I’ve got four pairs of panties stockpiled, so it wasn’t me.I’m old like the other guys – 52, and still a virgin. In some ways. Powderqueen says that the old farts, and the guys who came to skiing late in life are the ultimate insane stokers. I never rode a lift until I was 40. My first time I ridin on 210s and leather lowboys. Boys and girls we are ready. BRING IT!

Shout out to ROG! and of course FIS!

I’m David, formerly of Cape Cod, MA and now a resident of the much snowier Bozeman, MT. In my spare time I take pictures, ride my bike, run, ski, hike, and swim. I’ve looking forward to another season of FIS.

Just a dude from CT that gets inspiration for outdoor adventures from your site. Venture to the rock pile once in a while and am hoping to explore AT skiing more this year I think somewhat because what I have seen and read here. Love the TRs, sweet photos and I use your vids to get the kids pumped for powder days and to psych em up for when they are old enough for Mt Washington.

    Not my panties btw.

    Keep up the awesome work!

late 20’s north of boston here. i have been up with my 4 month old for the past few hours, he’s finally fallen asleep on my chest. needless to say i can’t move now. so i’ve been reading through old posts to feed the need for some turns. Noticed 19 replies so i thought i’d cap off the request for 20.
Love you guys, keep up the weather reports and blog, i read them daily!

Please tell me you guys saw the celtics game tonight!?
