so, looking forward, a freeze-up tonight for the central Greens above ~1,800′ with snow starting and continuing through Saturday night resulting in ~6″ of fresh over a beautifully edgeable 5-6′ base on Sunday….

Put today’s ski day on hold, but odds are that I’m out tomorrow. You’re talking the risk/threat of anywhere in the East. How far North is that threat? Aiming either Saddleback or Massif tomorrow. Second option is probable in what I’m seeing right now.

If someone actually makes it to plattekill today/tomorrow in a street legal vehicle, I’d be impressed. The access road must be a nightmare! We are off to the ADKs tomorrow and will hopefully be arriving to a winter wonderland.
