Halloween Costume

Two coats of face-paint would be required to really get October into its costume, and the second one would need to be thick; think “Hollywood-grade makeup.” After a look at its schedule, October decided it would get dressed Saturday night, and party on Sunday. Not wanting to put any sort of a damper on the affair, we did our part to help October get ready on Saturday…

…even Putnam chipped in!

As we awoke on Sunday morning, October’s getup was exquisite. The white livery of true-winter was nearly perfectly duplicated.

Thrilled, we came to the hill with costumes of our own.

no shame in getting twigged-up into a face-plant in this stuff. It’s pre-season twig-riding, great to do it, pay the price for forgetting physics for a split second. Just some cold stuff down the back, instead of stitches in the head–speaking from experience. Great clips.

What…shit dude, party’s over? Man, my head is bumpin. What happened last night? Ew, what is this crap all over my face?

No, that girl in the white? She looked so good. Seriously? Stubble? Dude, please don’t tell anyone. You took pictures? C’mon man. I know, this has happened before. I was just desperate, it has been so long since she left me in May. I just wanted it so bad. I told her I would do anything for her. Even wake up a 4am! Man I am a sucker.

Would I do it again? Hell yeah.

Great pix!!! What a great way to kick off the season. The previous weekend I was hiking and scoping out some winter lines down here in PA. Never thought I would be riding 15 inches of cold smoke the following weekend under blue bird skies. Gonna try and squeeze one more day of silly skiing on lunch break today before the 50 degree temps finish it off. Lets hope there’s more to come! Can’t wait to get back up VT soon.

    Very nice.
Although I am little peeved the Adks were not on the Halloween party list.
    Great pics.

Great shots. It looks like Hike-o came through for you guys. We’re hoping for a dusting tonight to freshen things up. It’s getting a bit thin out there. Maybe we’ll see you at Barn Bash Friday eve…? Thanks for sharing. – Brian
