Circumnavigation of Adams IV (or: 8K Vert Day!)
The skin up was treacherous. Allen couldn’t help but laugh at the strife of our splitboarding friend.
After many hours of bush whacking a trail in horrid condition, the main objective was still off in the distance. We stopped for a break and spotted a great looking line right below us. We decided to give it a go. The splitboarder’s first turns were clearly worth the effort up to this point.
Allen gave hot pursuit.
As we descended lower into the valley, the evidence of the heat was becoming apparent.
We reascended, and then continued on our way toward the objective.
At this point we spotted a several hundred vertical foot snowfield that was too picturesque to not be schussed. Christian made sure it didn’t go un-schussed.
